EaRTH
EPIC Earth is our international programme focused on knowledge sharing, capacity building, and cross-cultural exchanges between urban artists and Hip Hop cultural leaders as well as practitioners from around the world.
At its core, EPIC Earth builds partnerships with existing Urban Arts and Hip Hop organisations to preserve Hip Hop culture, create opportunities for disadvantaged young people and improve wellbeing through creative expression.
EPIC Earth History
We’ve delivered successful programmes across Europe and Asia, working in Spain, Italy, Austria, and currently India. Each collaboration includes cultural exchange, educational workshops, and joint events such as the EPIC Jam.
INDIA
We are currently working in partnership with Hip Hop Paathshala, based in Dharavi—one of India’s largest slums. Led by founder Akash, the organisation empowers young people through Hip Hop and Education.
We are leading a fundraising campaign to raise £8,000 (currently 76% raised) to support their educational programme.
SPAIN
In partnership with EachOneTeachOne,
we co-produced an EPIC Jam in Malaga and led a cultural exchange by inviting one of their founders to the UK.
This exchange focused on sharing strategies to preserve Hip Hop culture and how to use Hip Hop’s elements to enhance young people’s wellbeing and education.
ITALY
We partnered with Strictly Underground to deliver workshops in Bologna led by EPIC Family members—DJs, breakdancers, and graffiti artists.
In return, they joined us in London to deliver workshops at our 2020 EPIC Jam, building lasting creative links between our communities.
Kenya
In collaboration with The Awakening, Hip Hop Grad, Halisi Breakin, Legitz and Can of a Clan EPIC organised a cultural & artist exchange between Kenya and UK curating a Hip Hop Festival called Keep On Movin.
